Body Building Tips, What Should I Do if I Want to Gain Muscle?

If you’re a bodybuilder, your first concern is probably how you can build your muscles fast! But many people don’t gain muscle weight as fast as they want and become frustrated. If you’re discouraged because you’re not seeing the results you want, keep reading.

There are a few key points that can help you build muscle quickly that are relatively easy to implement. So without wasting anymore time here are a few quick tips to build muscle quickly:

1. Harness the Power of Visualization. Visualize yourself the way you want to look with the muscles you want to achieve. Imagine how your body will stand out in a crowd and the kinds of looks you will get. Imagine how good you will feel. Visualization harnesses the power of the subconscious to make what you see become reality.

Keeping a positive image of yourself succeeding at your goals firmly imbedded in your mind boosts your confidence and increases your motivation. But it also helps you to subtly change your actual behaviors in ways that will help you achieve your goal. If you practice using visualization techniques for even 10 minutes a day, you’ll start to see progress.

Lots of pro athletes including David Beckham, Tiger Woods, and Usain Bolt regularly incorporate visualization as a part of their training routine and attribute this to their great success. If guys like this are using visualization, you should be, too!

2. Mix Things Up. Incorporate variety into your workout routine as much as possible. For instance, compound sets can really help build your muscles, so why not do one set of exercises focusing on a particular group of muscles and then follow it with another set of different exercises that also focuses on that muscle group. This is how compound sets work and keep your training interesting.

You could start out with dumbbell flies and then do a set on the bench press. You’ll get a great burn with this routine. You can also optimize muscle growth using techniques like giant sets, super sets, drop sets, partials, and other routines.

3. Eat Properly For Building Muscle. Your body needs calories to burn to build muscle when working out, so try to eat a large snack about 90 minutes prior to your workout and a smaller snack like a piece of fruit about a half an hour before starting your routine.

As soon as possible post workout try and get a large dose of both carbohydrate and protein in to your system. Other times when it is essential to take on calories to build muscle quickly are just before bed and immediately upon arising. remember your muscles grow when they are at rest and at night time they need the calories to do this!

4. Limit Workouts to 45 Minutes Max. Because of the way your body works, certain hormones are released at various times or periods during or after working out. The ideal workout time is less than 45 minutes, prior to the time when the hormones that hinder muscle building are released.

In fact, working out for 30 minutes is the ideal. This provides for the optimum hormone levels to help your workouts generate muscle mass. It also ensures you still have the energy needed to grow your muscles.

5. Stay Focused. Don’t get distracted or caught up in thinking so you get discouraged. Rather, keep the end in mind and stay focused on the result you want to achieve. Concentrate during your workouts by having goals for each individual workout, wearing a headset, and/or maintaining a log of your training. Work hard for a short duration at a high intensity. Then go on with the rest of your day.

Those are 5 excellent points to bear in mind when trying to build muscle quickly. Try them for a couple of months and feel yourself grow!
